⚕️ Contraindications & Safety

Ayahuasca is a powerful sacred medicine that requires physical, emotional, and energetic preparation.
Please read carefully and inform us of any health conditions, recent surgeries, or medications (including antidepressants and herbal supplements).

Do not combine Ayahuasca with antidepressants (SSRIs/SNRIs, tricyclics), MAOIs, lithium, antipsychotics, stimulants, alcohol, MDMA/cocaine, or serotonergic herbs such as St. John’s Wort — as this may cause serotonin syndrome or hypertensive crisis.

Individuals with uncontrolled hypertension, serious cardiac, liver, or kidney disease, seizure disorders, or a personal/family history of schizophrenia, psychosis, or bipolar disorder should not participate unless cleared by a medical professional and assessed by our facilitation team.
